Join Us in Helping A Primary & Middle School by Building a Brighter Future
Education is the foundation of opportunity, yet many children in rural Turkiye lack the resources they need to succeed.
The Şehit Serkan Angay Primary and Middle School is located in the small village of Teke, Şile, in Türkiye. With an estimated population of around 500, the school serves approximately 90 students across its primary and middle school sections.
Although the village is only about 70 miles from Istanbul, a major economic hub, the recent earthquakes in Türkiye have severely impacted the economy. As a result, the school is in urgent need of 10 computers for its computer lab, as well as essential science laboratory equipment.
We’re partnering with the 1923 Çağdaş Lions Club to equip the school with fully functional science labs and computers, giving students access to global STEM programs and digital learning opportunities. Your tax-deductible donation to Anka Funds will directly support this transformative project.
